Administrative Fee:

University, High School, Middle and Elementary School courses require a nonrefundable $25.00 administrative fee. The $25.00 administrative fee does not apply to Noncredit Continuing Education courses. Check Fees.

Information Technology Fee:

$12.20 per credit hour. Check Fees.

Supplemental fees:

  • Business Course Fee - $34.60 per credit hour for courses taught within the College of Business
  • CAFNR Course Fee - $40.30 per credit hour for courses taught within the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources
  • HES Course Fee - $37.50 per credit hour for courses taught within the College of Human Environmental Sciences

Textbooks and Other Course Materials:

Required textbooks and supplementary course materials are available and may be ordered through the Center. Check the course listing for prices.

UPS Overnight Fee - Domestic Delivery Only:

For an additional fee, the Center offers overnight delivery of textbooks and other course materials to addresses served by UPS. Check the application for overnight delivery charge; payment for this service must accompany application. This service does not apply to the return of lessons submitted or mailing of exams to exam supervisors.

Airmail Fee:

If you do not have a U.S. ZIP code address, you must pay an airmail fee in addition to the standard fees. This fee provides airmail service for the course, return lesson service and regular correspondence that we send you. An additional airmail fee is listed for each textbook ordered; check the application for specific details.

Supplementary Materials Rental/Miscellaneous Fee:

Some courses require audio-visual or other supplementary materials that can be either rented or purchased through the Center, and some courses require an additional miscellaneous fee. Check the course description for details, and include the rental deposit/miscellaneous fee with your enrollment payment. Videotape/film home use requires a deposit that will be partially refunded when the tapes/films are returned in good condition. Specific deposits are listed in each course description.

Payment of Enrollment Fees:

Make your check or money order payable to the University of Missouri. All fees and other charges must be paid in U.S. dollars; no foreign checks or money orders, except postal money orders, can be accepted. Send payment, along with your completed application, to the Center. Fees may be paid by credit card; the Center accepts VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.

The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the fees charged for attendance and other services at the University when the Board of Curators considers it in the best interest of the University to do so. Any increase in fees must be approved by the Board of Curators not less than thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the academic term (semester, etc.) to which these fees will be applied.

Any change in fees will be effective irrespective of whether fees have or have not been paid by or on behalf of a student prior to the effective date of the modification.
